The Mayor of each of the communes of the Department draws lots publicly on the electoral list three times the number of names fixed for each commune.
He then removes the names of the people who will not have reached the age of 23 during the following calendar year, then informs the voters drawn by lot by mail. Finally, he sends the list to the registry of the Assize Court.
