The deadline for an application for registration was traditionally set for December 31.
It is now possible to register throughout the year. However, to be able to vote in an election year, this process must be completed. no later than the 6th Friday preceding the 1st round of voting.
The conditions to be a voter:
• Be at least 18 years old the day before election day (or the day before the 2nd round).
• Be of French nationality (European citizens residing in France can register on the complementary lists only for municipal and / or European elections).
• Enjoy their civil and political rights.
Recall :
• French people who reach the age of 18 are automatically entered on the electoral rolls if they have successfully completed the census formalities at the age of 16.
• The person who obtained French nationality after 2018 is automatically registered on the electoral roll.
• The person placed under supervision who was deprived of his right to vote by a court decision, recovers his rights and can exercise them, subject to being registered on the electoral roll.
Three ways to register on the electoral roll:
• Online: you can submit your registration file by creating an account on the site www.mon.service-pubilc.fr , which will tell you what to do next.
• In Town Hall: you can go yourself or through a duly authorized third party (certificate on plain paper) at the reception of the Town Hall.
• By post: you can send your registration form by post to the address of the Town Hall of Courtry, to the Elections department.
If you are unavailable on the day of the vote, you can give a proxy to a person of your choice, your proxy, who must be registered on the lists of the Municipality and this whatever the polling station.
You can establish this proxy by going, in particular, to the Chelles Police Station (77500) with an identity document and your voter card:

If the principal's state of health prevents him from moving, he can request that a police personnel come to his home to establish the power of attorney. The travel request must be made in writing and accompanied by a medical certificate or proof of disability.
The principal must appear in person at the competent authorities.
