Video protection

A real tool dedicated to security, the municipality is carrying out with the 2020-2023 program, a network of the entire municipal territory. Currently, there are 47 cameras installed, 1 of which is at the reception of the police station.

Video-verbalization

In accordance with the law n ° 2011-267 of March 14, 2011, orientation and programming for the performance of internal security known as "LOPPSI II", the video-verbalization is set up on the municipal territory, since December 1 2020.

It will make it possible to fight against irregular and dangerous parking spaces, thus making traffic more fluid by decongesting identified and difficult areas at certain times of the day in three sectors:

• Rue du Général Leclerc at the corner of rue de la Bergerie

• Rue des bonne vignes / place de l'Abîme at the corner of rue du Général De Gaulle

• Rue Charles Van Wyngène near the Maria Callas college

In order to keep the public informed of their entry into one of the areas under video-verbalization and to give them the possibility of consenting to it, an advertisement by way of display will be set up at the entrances to these spaces, on the axes road and pedestrians.

The CSU (Urban Supervision Center)

In Courtry, video protection operates actively over a random time slot and an operator is present at the urban supervision center 365 days a year. Without the operator, the cameras continue to operate according to presets, this is called “passive” mode operation.
